Really useful Mac software

Starting off 2015

We've spent the better part of 2014 updating our core code so that we can modernize a couple of our most popular older apps, namely SuperCal and Maskerade. Apple made some changes to the OS in Mavericks and Yosemite, and it's caused some difficulty for us with regard to display calibration, but we think we're over the hump and on the downhill path to completing SuperCal 2. Oh, and by the way, we're planning on a name change for SuperCal to freshen things up a bit, so stay tuned.

Maskerade 2 adds image registration and modernizes the user interface, and it's currently beta quality so we should be releasing it soon. If you want an idea of what Maskerade is used for, check out a competitor that doesn't realize we have a patent on the Maskerade process — http://www.styleshoots.com.

As a result of our hard work, we've been able to build and release a new image viewer called Riffle, and we'll be able to release a couple of new app ideas to replace our old Photoshop plugins and to expand our graphic apps collection. The fancy color code that is the foundation of HueShifter has a number of other uses, so we'll be releasing an image adjustment app that should blow regular RGB-adjusting apps away. Our old Photoshop math will find a new life in a stand-alone app that's not susceptible to Adobe's constantly changing plug-in code that still feels like it was written 30 years ago. And our work on SuperCal 2 has revealed a way to make Brightness control both built-in and external displays, so we should be able to update it too.

Now, you may notice an odd addition to the home page that points to a furniture company… More on that shortly.
